Oat pancakes
Oat-so-tasty oat pancakes made with Alpro Oat Drink will have them coming back for more!
Ingredients
You can always replace the white sugar with coconut blossom sugar
You can buy gluten free oats, but always be sure to check the packaging. Instead of Alpro Oat Drink, use Alpro Almond Drink or another of our delicious drinks. Use gluten free flour.
- 60g plain flour
- 1 tbsp caster sugar
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 180ml Alpro Oat Drink
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- A little extra oil for cooking
- Topping:
- Warm fruit compote or whatever you fancy!
- 45g rolled oats
Preparation
Step 1
Pop all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and whizz until you have a nice, smooth, batter.
Step 2
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over a medium high heat.
Step 3
Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately ¼ cup for each pancake.
Step 4
Brown on both sides and serve hot with a warm fruit compote and maybe a dollop of plant-based creaminess. Oat-so-tasty!
